Kaycee was born in Auckland, New Zealand, with ties to Te Rarawa and Ngati Wharara hapu. Her style of rapping is sharp & technical and she can easily destroy any male Mc who would doubt her skills.
She has always been fond of writing, having used it as a way to express herself throughout her childhood. Growing up in the 90's, she was heavily influenced by American hip hop and RnB, which awakened a transformation in her writing from stories to poetry and rap lyrics.
In 2011, Kaycee migrated to Brisbane Australia, where she made a name for herself locally and gained exposure through opening for artists such as Hopsin, Dizzy Wright, Sid Diamond and Nesian Mystik.
In November 2014 she moved to Perth to focus on her family and her 2 kids, this is why her music ventures were put on hold. While being in Perth she met Asom in 2015 who noticed straight away her talent and proposed her to participate to the the "We are Wa Cypher".
2016 was the year of reflexion for Kaycee and in 2017, after she was now ready to pick up the microphone again, she decided to sign to Concrete Block Recordz to push her carrier to the next level.
Kaycee is currently working on her debut album which will be released soon
